06 · Data and approval

Where is the data, and who decides?

The data is at AWS in Frankfurt. Coofi prepares; what goes out, touches money or is legally binding waits for a person.

Storage: AWS in Frankfurt (eu-central-1); files apart from the database, separated per business
Isolation: Every business in Coofi is shielded from every other business, down to the database, with row-level security in PostgreSQL
Approval: Sending, publishing, money and everything legally binding waits for a personAfter sending: 10 seconds to undo a quote, invoice, reminder or client link
Sources: Every important fact has a source; without a source, Coofi says it does not have one
AI training: Coofi does not train its own AI models on businesses’ data
Web search: Only the search words go to Linkup, a European search service; a search with an email address, phone number or IBAN is stopped
Taking along and deleting: Export link valid for 7 days; a deletion can be cancelled for 14 days; personal data gone within 30 days; invoices kept for 7 years
Limits: Uploads in Knowledge up to 20 MB; clips up to 50 MB and 60 seconds; importing a website as a ZIP up to 50 MB and 2,000 files

What does Coofi not do?

Coofi sends, publishes or pays nothing without approval, and makes no decisions that belong to the business owner or the accountant.

Send or publish anything by itselfMail, posts, invoices and putting the website live wait for a person.

File VAT returnsCoofi prepares the overview; the business owner or the accountant files the return.

Decide on the hours criterionCoofi counts the hours; the accountant decides whether the criterion is met.

Get into the bankCoofi does not ask Moneybird for access to the bank.

Change anything in a webshopIn Shopify and WooCommerce, Coofi only reads: no refunds, prices or discount codes.

What does Coofi cost?

€29, €79 or €199 a month excl. VAT, for Starter, Pro and Business. Agency costs €199 a month excl. VAT with 3 clients, then €39 per extra client a month. Yearly you pay for 10 months.

How long is the trial, and do I have to enter a card?

14 days, and yes: you enter a payment card. 7 days before the first payment you get a reminder. If you stop before day 14, you pay nothing.

Does Coofi work with Exact Online, bol.com or Mollie?

Not yet. Shopify, WooCommerce and Klaviyo work now; Exact Online, bol.com and Mollie come next.

Does Coofi train AI models on my data?

No. Coofi does not train its own AI models on your data.

Can I take my website with me if I stop?

Yes. You download the finished site as a ZIP, with a short guide, for any host. You can do that without a plan too.

Which languages does Coofi work in?

Two: Dutch first, with English alongside.
