Lisa Vos designs brand identities in Utrecht. Every day Coofi prepares one thing for her. She reads it, makes changes where needed and approves. What goes out only goes when she says so.

Does Coofi work with Moneybird and e‑Boekhouden?

Yes, with both, and you do not have to switch. Not everything works in both: quotes, the VAT overview and the hours count only work with Moneybird for now. Exact Online does not work yet.

Frequently asked questions about Coofi for freelancers

What is Coofi?

Coofi is an AI COO for freelancers, small webshops and agencies in the Netherlands. Coofi works in the tools you already use, such as Moneybird, e‑Boekhouden, Shopify and your mailbox, and prepares client mail, quotes, reminders, posts and your website. Everything that goes out waits for your approval.

Does Coofi decide whether I meet the hours criterion?

No. Coofi counts your hours against the 1,225 hours and shows whether you are on track. Whether you meet the criterion is for your accountant or the Dutch tax authority (Belastingdienst) to decide.

Where do the hours come from?

From the time tracking in Moneybird. If there is work in your calendar without hours, Coofi points it out. You add them in Moneybird yourself, and then it counts them.

Can Coofi file my VAT return?

No. Coofi prepares the VAT overview per quarter from Moneybird and writes the email to your accountant, which waits for you in Approvals. You or your accountant file and pay.

Does Coofi also work with e‑Boekhouden?

Yes, in part. Reminders for open invoices work with e‑Boekhouden and then go through your own mailbox. Quotes, the VAT overview and the hours count only work with Moneybird for now.

Does Coofi work with Exact Online?

Not yet. Moneybird and e‑Boekhouden work now; Exact Online comes next. We only promise it once it works.

Does Coofi send email or invoices by itself?

No. Everything that goes out waits until you approve it. After sending you have 10 seconds to take back a quote, invoice or reminder.

Does Coofi write in my tone?

Yes. Coofi learns your tone from your own sent email. You read every draft before it goes out, and what you change, it remembers.

What does Coofi cost for a freelancer?

€29 a month excl. VAT for Starter: one business, one user and 600 credits a month for AI work. Your own edits are free. On a yearly plan you pay for 10 months.

How long is the trial, and do I have to enter a card?

14 days, and yes, you enter a payment card. 7 days before the first payment you get a reminder telling you how to stop. If you do not cancel, your plan starts after 14 days.
